LIGHT GLOBE INFORMATION
We promote the use of LED globes with our lighting products.
On many product pages we state max 60 watt, here we are referring to an incandescent globe only as a guide to how much heat the fitting can support. The equivalent in light output is 46 watt halogen and 6 watt LED. Wattage is energy consumed and the higher the wattage the higher the running cost. Wattage is not the strength of the light, that is lumens. Lumens is the light emitted from the globe. See the globe guide below.
For the majority of our fittings we recommend a 6 watt warm white LED and when a stronger light is needed a 12 watt warm white LED. A stronger light is sometimes required for pendants and wall lights depending on the application. We stock these globes and they are both dimmable.
All merchandise will be shipped from Tasmania, Australia within 1-5 business days after receiving your payment. If for some reason this is not possible you will be notified. Please include your email address when purchasing in case we need to contact you.
Packages will generally arrive at their destination 2-5 days from the dispatch date for Australia and 7-15 days from the dispatch date for international delivery.
Unless otherwise specified, we will deliver the item/s by TNT or Australia Post..
Shipping costs do not include insurance. Please contact us if you wish to include insurance for the delivery.
Shipping rates are determined by weight and size. These costs will be included when calculating purchase and delivery.
Prices and shipping fees do not include import duties, VAT or tariffs. These costs are the responsibility of the purchaser/recipient and are usually collected upon delivery.
Shipping fees are non-refundable and in the event that a product is returned only the cost of the merchandise is refunded.
We request that you inspect the merchandise on arrival.
If you wish to return the item/s you must notify us within 7 business days from receipt of the goods.
Return shipping costs and any other related expenses are the responsibility of the purchaser.
The returned item/s must be in ‘as new’ condition with no wear and tear and be in the original packaging.
CURRENCY AND PAYMENT
All transactions are in Australian dollars. We use PayPal for payments which accepts credit and debit cards.
